There are a million reasons to love San Diego, and I’m excited to start this new monthly feature to share all my favorite spots in this sunny city. Whether you’re planning a visit or looking for a new place to call home, San Diego offers an abundance of attractions, activities, and natural beauty that make it a perfect destination. While it is hard to narrow down, here are a few reasons why I love San Diego.

One of the first things you’ll notice about San Diego is its incredible weather. With an average of 266 sunny days a year, it’s no wonder people flock here to enjoy the great outdoors. The mild climate means you can take advantage of outdoor activities year-round without worrying about extreme temperatures.
The Stunning Coastline
San Diego’s coastline is truly breathtaking. Miles of sandy beaches stretch along the Pacific Ocean, offering plenty of spots to relax, surf, swim, or simply take in the view.
Never-Ending Activities
Here you can visit world-class museums, enjoy the famous San Diego Zoo, or catch a baseball game at Petco Park. The city’s diverse neighborhoods each offer their own unique charm and experiences. Plus, there are amazing restaurants at every turn!

San Diego is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. Beyond the beaches, there are countless hiking trails that offer stunning views of the ocean, mountains, and desert landscapes. For winter sports lovers, the nearby mountains provide excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities, making it possible to enjoy both the beach and the slopes in the same day.

My husband Matt and I have settled here with our adorable son Granite, and we couldn’t be happier. San Diego offers the perfect blend of vibrant city life and serene natural beauty, making it an ideal place to raise a family. We love spending our weekends exploring new trails, enjoying the beach, or simply soaking up the sun in our backyard. San Diego is a city that truly has it all!
